Privacy & template rights

MemeReply saves your editor draft and the latest PNG locally in your browser. Start over clears that draft and image. The public template catalog is cached for up to a day. No account, analytics integration or server database is used.

Rendering sends your captions to Memegen. Its generated URLs contain those captions. Do not put private information in a meme. Optional AI sends the original post text to the configured OpenAI model only when you request suggestions. If enabled, post lookup sends the post ID to the selected X retrieval provider.

Cloudflare and the external providers may process network request metadata under their own policies. See Cloudflare, OpenAI, TwitterAPI.io, and the X Developer Agreement.

Know your template

AstroWind and meme rendering software licenses do not grant rights to every underlying template image. Images can carry copyright, trademark, and likeness rights. Template sources are linked in the editor; they are context, not license grants. Obtain any rights needed for publication or commercial use. MemeReply is not affiliated with X or these providers.

Local data

Your draft stays on this device until you start over or clear site data. The last rendered PNG expires for reuse after 24 hours. AI suggestions are held only in the current tab. Post lookup deduplication in a warm Worker lasts five minutes. No X or AI responses are stored in the service-worker cache.
